"N
atalie Dellutri is a stellar dancer: powerful, facile, and nuanced. In 2017, when she performed Roderick George's F.E.M. Queen I was impressed with her maturity and range of expression. She dances with precision and dedication, and I later discovered that she was a catalyst throughout F.E.M. Queen's creative process. She is able to translate choreographic ideas into her body and to enrich a choreographer's vision.
Natalie has a distinct ability to inhabit movement and to make it her own, all the while taking risks where she can, with the momentum of a phrase or the extension of her limbs. Natalie is not only a joy to watch on stage, but also a brilliant and curious conversationalist. I have learned from many discussions with her, and appreciate how she has been a vital part of creating environments that nurture different points of view.
Ultimately, I think her exceptional abilities can be traced to her work ethic: she is dedicated to learning, both in the dance studio as well as in lecture halls, and she inspires those around her to dig a little deeper intellectually, physically, and emotionally. Natalie does not engage in these moments to be applauded or rewarded, but rather because she has such tremendous respect for dancing and for the power of performances."

DANCING IS NOT JUST
GETTING UP PAINLESSLY,
LIKE A LEAF
BLOWN ON THE WIND;
DANCING IS WHEN YOU TEAR
YOUR HEART OUT
AND RISE OUT OF YOUR BODY
TO HANG SUSPENDED
